To Every Woman

Every year on March 8th, we celebrate women. To me, this is a day to honor the strength, resilience, and beauty of every woman in the world.

I recently read In the FLO by Alisa Vitti, and I was in awe of the enchanting way she describes a woman's nature and the cycle every woman experiences, has experienced, or will experience: the menstrual cycle.

We’ve been taught to fear and despise our menstrual cycle and led to believe that it makes us weaker, when in reality, it gives us superpowers we haven’t yet learned how to harness. All we need to do is learn how to understand and love it.

As women, we are given the privilege of bringing human life into this world. We are caregivers, community builders, and are primed to ensure the advancement and survival of our societies. We have the power to do anything we set our minds to. We have the power to change the world.

To every woman in the world—whether sitting in boardrooms, working to better our communities, starting your own business, taking care of your family, or doing it all—you are an inspiration, and you are carving the way for all of us.

When we learn to love our bodies, embrace our imperfections, recognize our inner power, and truly love ourselves, we can spread that love to our families, communities, and the world.

Happy Women’s Day!
